Online Percussion Studio is a specialised recording service dedicated to capturing high-quality percussion tracks for artists, producers, composers and media creators worldwide. Built to serve modern music production workflows, the studio delivers professionally recorded percussion from a fully equipped remote environment.
Founded by Matt Hodge, an experienced session percussionist with credits spanning commercial releases, film scores, and independent projects, he is known and trusted to collaborate and advise artists and producers to get the perfect result. From cinematic orchestral percussion and world instruments to contemporary pop grooves and experimental textures, each recording is tailored to enhance the emotional and rhythmic foundation of a project.

I've known about Matt's percussion skills for several years and seen some amazing live footage of him playing in various settings, both live bands and in clubs. As a primarily dance music producer I really admired his incredibly tight grooves and multiple instrument abilities, so, when the right project came along I did not hesitate to contact him for a remote (Covid-19) session. At that time, I didn't realise he had a purpose build percussion studio all set up and raring to go! The process was incredibly simple and within 24 hours l had amazing congas, bongos, shakers, tambourines and more - all played 100% live and grooving along together exactly as I had hoped. Matt listened to my brief and nailed it first time. On future projects, he played Glock & Xylophone, cowbells and all manner of exotic percussion. All recordings are impeccable and it's clear that Matt lives and breathes percussion with a passion.
